System Architecture

Protroit OS follows a strictly layered architecture to ensure modularity, security, and scalability. The intelligence flows from the bottom up, while control signals flow from the top down.

Architecture Layers

Layer Primary Responsibility
Application Layer User interfaces, external integrations, and high-level logic.
Developer Extension Layer Custom modules, SDK hooks, and third-party agent definitions.
Agent Runtime Layer Execution environment for autonomous entities and workflow engines.
Service Infrastructure Layer Backbone services like storage, networking, and auth.
Core Intelligence Layer The AI Engine, Context Manager, and Reasoning Kernel.

Layer Interaction Model

The Core Intelligence Layer acts as the "Brain," providing reasoning capabilities to the Agent Runtime. The Agents then utilize the Service Infrastructure to perform tasks requested by the Application Layer.
